Emilio Orciollo Netto como Gustavo Franco
Brasília, maio de 1993.
The story of the creation of the Plano Real will hit theaters soon. Based on the book by journalist Guilherme Fiúza, “3000 Dias no Bunker” was filmed in Brasília at the end of March, and now centralizes production in São Paulo until May.
Directed by Rodrigo Bittencourt (from the comedy “Totalmente Inocentes”, 2012) and with the co-production of Globo Filmes, the feature follows the economic team, which closed in a “bunker” to reform the state and create the currency.
The focus will be on economist Gustavo Franco (played by Emílio Orciollo Neto). Paola Oliveira lives her fictional girlfriend.
The team will also feature Fernando Eiras as Winston Fritsch, Giulio Lopes as Edmar Bacha, Tato Gabus Mendes as Pedro Malan, Guilherme Weber as Persio Arida, Wladimir Candini as André Lara Resente, and Carlos Meceni as Clóvis Carvalho.
The former presidents Itamar Franco and Fernando Henrique Cardoso will gain prominence with the performance of Bemvindo Sequeira and Norival Rizzo, respectively.
